2021 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

University School had an impressive year at the 2021 Regional Scholastic Art & Writing Competition, a national awards program. This marks the eighth consecutive year that US has achieved such a strong representation at the competition.

In the art competition, US students won six Gold Keys, eight Silver Keys, and 17 Honorable Mentions. In the writing competition, US students won five Gold Keys, 10 Silver Keys, and 19 Honorable Mentions.

Students in grades 7-12 in the Greater Cleveland region submitted nearly 3,000 pieces of artwork and writing samples to be judged. Gold Key winners continue to the national competition in New York City.
