US Wins Regular Season Finale

Everyone seemed a bit rusty from the two week break. At the end of the first quarter we were down 14-5. At the end of the half US was down 23-11. Fortunately our boys woke up in the third quarter and started to play more like the talented athletes we know and love. As we have seen all season, when the defense is intense it creates offense. US scored 22 points in the third quarter closing the gap on Memorial's lead to just 1 point going into the fourth. The Preppers took the lead in the fourth and never looked back finishing up 48-40.

Connor led US with 14 points. Craig scored 10 points and Brad added 9 points. Brandon had 6 points and 3 steals. Max had 3 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Reid, Andrew and Jack scored 2 points each.

US wraps up the regular season with an impressive 13-2 record. US plays the winner of Madison vs. Eastlake at 5:30 on Tuesday, January 10th at LaMuth Middle School.
