As part of the Junior Fellows independent research program, this school year, these eighth-grade students pursued self-directed projects on topics they were passionate about, guided by mentors and supported by the Enrichment Specialist, Mr. Jeff Pierce.
Noah Ahmad '29 explored fighter jets through research, interviews with Air Force personnel, and museum visits. Jack Levy '29 investigated political careers by speaking with senators, mayors, and White House staff. Isaiah Gatson '29 delved into the science of de-extinction, consulting experts and sharing his findings with the community. Each student presented their work to the Middle School in professional, engaging talks that showcased their dedication, curiosity, and academic maturity.
