University School Swimming & Diving earned the 2025–2026 Division II State Championship, finishing with 216 points and marking the program’s FIFTH consecutive state title!
This marks Coach Brian Perry’s '89 eleventh state title since 2009. Congratulations to all University School swimmers, divers, and coaches! It was a close one this year, and a true team effort.
The team had several members recognized as
News-Herald All Stars, and Coach Perry was named Coach of the Year by the newspaper, writing, "Every little bit added up, particularly diving—as Perry has been wise and forward-thinking to understand the value of depth there—relays, and younger swimmers.
The team dedicated the state trophy to diving coach Katie Carter, who has worked to recruit more students to try diving, with great success, and to train them to excel. This was our deepest and most accomplished diving team in years.
