Mock Trial Makes Their Case

The Mock Trial Team competed at the Ohio Center for Legal-Related Education's district competition at the Cuyahoga County Courthouse in February. Luke Chao '29, Brennan Coley '27, Victor Elin '27, Giles Lafave '28, and Aaron Raiz '27 all earned "Best Attorney" recognition for their work, as judged by a panel of legal professionals. 

Kartik Gulati '27, Stone Rambert '27, and Elliot Strom '29 each earned "Best Witness" awards for their performances. One set of trial team members won two rounds of competition, earning a spot at regionals, the team's first appearance there in years. At regionals, the team fell just short of qualifying for states, and Brennan Coley '27 and Victor Elin '27 once again earned "Best Attorney".

The regional qualifying team members were: Emmett Coggin '27, Brennan Coley '27, Victor Elin '27, Joe Gilligan '26, Kartik Gulati '27, Cody Kimmel '27, Oliver Krishnaney '27, Aaron Raiz '27, and Theo Walter '27.
