Little Plants Grow A Long Way

In their kindergarten classrooms, boys have been discussing the members of the US community who help them every day. The teachers talked about the many people in our school community who support them, including the housekeeping staff, our SLAMS teachers, and Mr. Hurley, and Mrs. Cummings.

To show their appreciation, the boys planted flowers for each of these community members. They also wrote a note and signed their names to go along with the plant. The boys then hand-delivered each plant with a special message: “Thank you for helping US grow.”
