Entrepreneur Cup Winners

In the 2017 Entrepreneur Cup competition, students worked individually or in teams to identify a business problem or opportunity, develop a solution to the problem, and write a business plan that describes how they will create, promote, and deliver their business solution. In addition, students also had to identify a target customer for their product or service, as well as analyze the competition in their field.

There were 39 students on 24 teams in the competition that was judged by Mr. Ryan Schreiber ’09 and Mr. Sam Tippit ’07. The team of Matthew Locker '17, Rahil Shah '17, and James Sheeler '17 won first place for their business idea called BOA Bracelet, a fashionable charging cable bracelet that connects a mobile phone, wireless headphones, or a wireless speaker to a power source.

The team of Firas Abboud '18 and Jacob Brooks '18 received second place for their business called Za’atar Products, a Middle-Eastern spice and food products company.

Philipp Richter '18 won third prize for his business called Squash U, a one-to-one squash coaching program that pairs middle school students with varsity squash players.

Congratulations to all the winners who impressed the judges with their creativity, passion and great presentation skills.
