In the space provided below, write an essay from three to five paragraphs in length responding to one of the following prompts:
1. The postman rings your doorbell and delivers a large box wrapped in brightly colored paper. To whom is the box addressed? Who sent it? What is in the box?
2. Write about a time you worked hard for something. For example, you may have worked hard to earn a reward in class, win a game or make money for something. Tell what you did and how you felt.
3. Imagine someone made an exciting announcement at school. Write about the announcement and what happened next.
